Purpose for this Blog

I use this blog primarily for software topics, but do not necessarily limit it to that. It also provides a testbed for implementing web technologies. A brief explanation is usually given along with discussion of particularly tricky issues.

My background

I have been doing software and engineering for 27 years. Started with Fortan and C, then worked on Ada, C++ with MFC. SQL Databases. Then ASP and scripting. Then C# and .NET. Now adding Flash (which is awesome!)...
