Another Excel Tip from IT Brigade…
Here’s a couple things to do when you want to have multiple lines in a single cell:
1) Expand the cell edit window, so you can see multiple lines. Click the down arrow on the right side of the cell edit window to do this. To go back to single line click the up arrow.
2) Use Alt-Enter to create each new line in the cell. Can’t just hit Enter as this will move you to the next cell below.
3) When pasting multiple lines into a cell, paste the lines into the cell edit window. If they are pasted into the worksheet directly, each line will go to a different cell.
